Meet Our General Manager
Beginning her career as a domiciliary carer, Lesley has spent over 30 years dedicated to supporting individuals across the Health and Social Care sector. Her experience spans hands‑on care, senior carer and team leader roles, and extensive work with people living with dementia — giving her a deep, practical understanding of what truly matters to those receiving support.
As an A1 Assessor, Lesley has trained and developed care teams to deliver safe, person‑centred, and empowering support. Her leadership is grounded in real frontline experience, ensuring that every decision, policy, and service at Peninsula Care is shaped by compassion, dignity, and professional excellence.
Today, as General Manager, she continues to champion independence, inclusion, and high‑quality care — guiding Peninsula Care with the same values that have defined her entire career.

Flo joined Peninsula Care after completing her BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care, bringing a strong foundation of knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting others. In her dual role as Admin and Befriender, she combines excellent organisational skills with a warm, person‑centred approach.
In the office, Flo supports the smooth running of our service with accuracy, reliability, and a calm, friendly manner. As a befriender, she builds meaningful connections with the people she visits, offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support that makes a real difference to wellbeing.

Angela
I have recently left my role within the NHS with a strong background of communication with individuals.
As a Dementia Befriender, I focus on meaningful connections with individuals living with dementia. My role revolves around providing companionship and emotional support to ensuring the person has a purpose for their day, this enables the carer to enjoy their time in whatever activities they would like to do.
I facilitate activities that are person centred to them whether it be painting, walking listening to music, playing games or going to the local shops, whilst taking into account their health and wellbeing.
Through good communication and active listening, I strive to create an environment that values individuality and dignity, empowering individuals to participate as independently as possible.
I am dedicated to promoting mental and emotional well-being by building trust and understanding, while celebrating each person's unique journey and individuality.
I came to Peninsula Care Ltd on a break from university, where I am training to become an RGN.
I am also currently working as a phlebotomist, and am studying hard. But when I am not studying, I enjoy walking my dog, Bella.
